Tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian…we need a new intro, to both the posts here and on the show itself. Nevertheless, boys and girls, Thoughts on Films brings to you its 19th episode! The only film podcast in the world to be recorded in Bahasa Malaysia is also almost-certainly the first to interview Bebbra Charles Mailin! The filmmaker, hailing from Sabah, has made a number of eye-catching short films, and she is currently teaching at the Faculty of Film, Theatre and Animation, UiTM. In the first of this two-part interview, we’ll be looking at her academic career in the field of the arts, both as a student as well as a lecturer.
Inner View
- Have a look-see at what the Faculty of Film, Theatre and Animation, UiTM offers
- Here’s some info on the film ‘Tiga Budak Melayu’ as well as the trailer
- For those who don’t know much about Sabah
- Kepayan is also the home to the Kota Kinabalu Central Prison, apparently. Hmm…

Hey guys,
Lovin’ the show so far and I was really excited when I saw this episode is interviewing a filmmaker from my hometown. However, the link you’ve posted here is for Episode 17. Hope you guys can check to see if its working properly.
Hi Filmbah, thanks for letting us know! We just checked it out, and the link at the top of the post leads to the right episode. It’s the one at the bottom of the post that doesn’t work properly, so we’ll be fixing that at the soonest. Thanks once again!
Hello Filmbah, we have fixed the link. Thanks once again!
Thanks, guys! Keep up the great work!
